After a couple months with the Puffit Vaporizer, I decided it was time for my to try something new. Enter the Magic Flight Launch Box.
Let me start off by saying that I didn't think that a vaporizer would work for heavy smokers(like me), but I am so glad that I gave them a try because I am hooked on these things. I carried the Magic Flight Launch Box with me for awhile, and it has proven to be a solid and steady companion.
So here it is guys. My own Magic Flight Launch Box review. This is the real thing, so pay attention.
The Important Stuff You Need to KnowThis US-made vaporizer is very convenient for someone who's always on the run like me. It's light in weight,
it's compact, and it can fit right in my jeans pocket. I love how I no longer need to use a lighter anymore. The handy AA batteries it comes with only need to be recharged every once in a while for me to keep vaping, with every cycle lasting for about 25 to 30 minutes before you need to charge this baby again.
The Magic Flight (also called MFLB) is constructed with maple hardwood shells (handcrafted) with mouthpieces and lids made of plexiglass. I actually believe that is now available in other hardwoods other than maple now.
The MFLB heats up really quick—just four seconds after you insert the battery and it would already have
reached its maximum temperature. These handheld vaporizers use conduction as well as infra-red to get you
vaporizing in no time.
One thing that I really liked about this unit is that it isn't so hard to clean. All you need to do is scrape the
screen, wipe the mouthpiece and the window, and you're good to go. Just make sure that you go soft on the
trench area while you're cleaning it otherwise you could do some serious damage to it.
What's in the Box
• Magic Flight Launch Box Vaporizer
• Mouthpiece
• Black Tin Container
• Cleaning Brush
• 2 Rechargeable AA NiMH Batteries
• 2 Battery End Cap Protectors
• Velvet Carrying Case
The warranty that comes with the Magic Flight is pretty impressive—though it's been specifically said that its
lifetime manufacturer's warranty is restricted only for “normal” use. What does that mean exactly? I guess as
long as you don't use it excessively, then you can always avail of this warranty.
The battery is another thing though, which is pretty normal as some batteries don't even carry warranties, or
aren't included at all. This one has a six-month coverage, which is great considering its size and how it's being used, not to mention the product's price.
Compared with other vaporizers out there, the heating time on this one is way faster—about five to ten
seconds. The temperature reaches a maximum of 380° F, which is alright, I guess. It's a little complicated for you to get it to work, but you'll get the hang of it after doing it several times.
And the price is not at all that bad either. At $119, it's one of the cheapest vaporizers in the market.
But is it the best? This may not be my number one choice, but it's a decent vape and the price isn't that bad either.
This unit is available at VaporTown.
Happy Vaping!
